The Book of Job and the Problem of Suffering

Why do bad things happen to good people? In the Forge & Fiat bible studies for high school students we will begin reading the book of Job to discuss the problem of evil, biblical literature, biblical poetry, prophecy, and inspiration. Join us for a deep dive into the scriptures after the Sunday 10:00 am Mass.

Ever been asked “Why are you Catholic?” or “Where is that in the Bible?” and suddenly didn’t know what to say? We will break down the biggest questions teens hear at school about God, Jesus, the Bible, the Church, and truth. You will learn how to use Scripture to explain Catholic beliefs, how Tradition fits in, and how to have real conversations with friends who believe differently or do not believe at all.
