First Communion PArent Event requirements

For ongoing formation and involvement in the parish community as we seek to grow in relationship with Christ and with one another, both parents are required to attend at total of 6 parish events at Our Lady of Guadalupe over the course of the year, 3 in the Fall (September – December), and 3 in the spring (January – May). At least 2 of the 6 must be a Wednesday evening Family Adoration with your children.

• After attending the event, parents will fill out the form (included below) to let us know that you attended! The form will require the following:
• A photo from the event with the parents in it
• A 3-4 sentence reflection from the event.
  
  
• If the event requires registration, parents will fill out the registration form for the event they are attending. If there is a cost associated with the event, you will not be charged as the cost is included in the registration fee for Faith Formation. Please use discount code “First Communion” when registering.
  
  
• If you have a child in the High School Confirmation Program, parent sessions for that program can count towards fulfilling this requirement, you will still need to fill out the Event Attendance Form.
