Quinceañeras

At Our Lady of Guadalupe, we love to celebrate the tradition of a Quinceañera, a special coming-of-age milestone for young girls in the Hispanic community. Join us as we honor this beautiful tradition with prayers, blessings, and joyful festivities.

Quinceañeras at OLG

Young women who wish to celebrate their Quinceañera at Our Lady of Guadalupe, La Habra must enroll and complete the Quinceañera Formation Program.

Beginning in 2026–2027, families may choose to complete the Quinceañera Formation Program alongside High School Faith Formation Year 1 or complete Quinceañera Formation first and begin Confirmation preparation the following year.


Formation Pathway

Families may choose one of two formation pathways:

Option 1: Quinceañera Formation + Confirmation

  • 2026–2027: Quinceañera Formation Program (8 sessions) alongside High School Faith Formation Confirmation – Year 1
  • 2027–2028: High School Faith Formation Confirmation – Year 2

Option 2: Quinceañera Formation First

  • 2026–2027: Quinceañera Formation Program (8 sessions)
  • 2027–2028: High School Faith Formation Confirmation – Year 1
  • 2028–2029: High School Faith Formation Confirmation – Year 2


Both pathways fulfill the Quinceañera Formation requirement. Young women who are completing Confirmation at another parish are also required to complete the eight-session Quinceañera Formation Program if they wish to celebrate their Quinceañera at Our Lady of Guadalupe.


Registration Process

Step 1: Register for High School Faith Formation (or the Quinceañera Formation Program if completing Confirmation at another parish).

Step 2: Once your registration is complete, you may call the front office to reserve a date for your Quinceañera. (Let them know you have enrolled your daughter.)


Program Information

  • The Quinceañera Formation Program consists of eight bilingual sessions held throughout the year.
  • Mothers and daughters are required to attend all sessions together.
  • The Quinceañera Formation Program is included in the High School Faith Formation registration fee (no additional cost).
