A born-and-bred Southern Californian, Jack spent most of his early years in Ramona, a small rural town in San Diego County. He was homeschooled until 5th grade, when he entered a hybrid homeschool program until he graduated high school. After receiving his diploma, Jack moved to Fullerton, CA, where he is now pursuing a Bachelor's of Fine Arts with a concentration in Creative Photography and Experimental Media at California State University, Fullerton. Jack has been a lifelong Catholic, having been raised by devout parents with 5 siblings, of which Jack is the eldest.
Jack has been involved in the Church since a young age, becoming an altar server at 11 years old, and becoming a Catechist at 18. Throughout his college career, he has offered his photography skills to many parishes across San Diego, Orange County, and San Bernardino, working primarily to observe the beauty of the sacraments. He is currently the vice president of Titan Catholic, Cal State Fullerton's Catholic club, and has previously served as Social Media Coordinator for the club. He also started the altar serving ministry for the club, and handles most of the club's photography. He first became involved at Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Habra in December of 2024, when he volunteered at the procession for the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
After spending 3 months as a communications intern here at OLG, Jack was offered the role of Communications Coordinator, where he has been working since July of 2025. He is most grateful for the opportunity to work at OLG, and is excited to share the beauty of both parish life at OLG and the universal Catholic Church with as many people as God allows.
The transcendental virtues of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty are vital to Jack's philosophy around his work. He believes strongly in the power of beauty in evangelization. Through his work at both OLG and in his personal photography, he hopes that he might help to revive a greater understanding of the Church's truth, goodness, and beauty.
