We invite you to join us in watching For Greater Glory a movie about The Cristeros, a Catholic militant group opposing the religious suppression of the Mexican government.
The movie includes 14-year-old José Sánchez del Río (pictured below), one of the Cristeros, the youngest and most determined. "After persuasive endeavors of torture, he is marched to his own grave and shot... This martyrdom showcases the youth’s knowledge that losing one unalienable liberty does not lead to more freedom but less."
Costumes: All costumes will be provided! Showings: Saturday December 13 and Sunday December 14 at our Annual El Mercado Christmas Market.
