Thanks so much for your willingness to volunteer to minister to our youth!!
As a volunteer for our Faith Formation program, you will walk with the youth in a class on their journey learning more about God and for many this journey leads to the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and for some Confirmation. We are so delighted that you have said yes to volunteering with our young people. We have a variety of commitment options that feed the need of your schedule.
- Grades 1-5 - If you would like to volunteer to assist in our classes for 1st communion preparation for grades 1-5 or post communion grades 3-5, please contact Stephanie Ruiz at 562-691-0533 or [email protected]. We have options for Tuesday afternoons 4:30-5:45pm and evenings 6:15-7:30pm.
- Grades 6-8 - If you feel a call to work with this wonderful age group then our 1st Communion Preparation or Edge program are for you! Please contact Ray Hernandez at 562-691-0533 or [email protected]. Our sessions are on Tuesday evenings from 6:15-7:30pm and we have various type of volunteers from small group leaders to leading classes.
- High School Confirmation (Grades 9-12) - If you are interested in working with high school age students then this might be for you! Please contact Ray Hernandez at 562-691-2104 or [email protected]. Our sessions are on Thursday evenings (every other Thursday) from 7-8:15pm
- High School LifeTeen Program (Grades 9-12) - If you are interested in sharing your faith with our young people in a fun and personal way then joining our LifeTeen CORE Team might be for you! Please contact Ray Hernandez at 562-691-2104 or [email protected]. Our Life Nights are most Sundays out of the year and other events (mostly in the summer). Come join us to share our faith with the youth.
- Young Adult (18-35) Faith Formation - If you are interested in a more relaxed environment and working with this age group, please contact Ray Hernandez at 562-691-2104 or [email protected].
