The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut. It is a Catholic men’s fraternal organization to support parish priests and help widows and orphans of deceased members of the Catholic Church. Since its founding, the Knights of Columbus has become the largest Men’s fraternal organization in the world, It provides well over two million hours of volunteer time to Catholic causes and events.

Council Activities & Outreach Programs

The Knights of Columbus provide support for parish events and ministries including but not limited to La Fiesta, volunteering as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Ushers, and Lectors.

Monthly Food Drive

Knights of Columbus Begin Monthly Food Drive Every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas we remember our brothers and sisters in need. We should not forget they struggle to put food on their tables the rest of the year too.

You can help by supporting the Knights of Columbus, who along with the students of our Faith Formation program and Our Lady Guadalupe School, will be holding a food drive on the first weekend of every month, starting the weekend of February 5 & 6.

The items collected will be given to the La Habra Community Resources Care Center to help in their weekly distributions. A container cart will be placed on Jason’s patio for your donations.
